After graduation from the Danish Design School as a Stage Designer in 1997, I have been fortunate that my professional wanderings have led me among exciting and creative people with the same craving for mutual inspiration, enrichment and transformation.
The path has been long and varied, leading through Danish (government) ministries, Danish art & culture and the biotech medical industries.
Still curious, I’m pursuing pilgrimage for questions, contradictions, puzzles, and challenges.
A day in the studio could be like this:
- "Is a VOTE for LOVE
as rare as a teddy bear
stuffed with mistrust?"
Everywhere I walk or talk
questions are clinging to my clothes.
Contradictions, misbelieves and misfittings
all yelling for billboard and comfort.
Listen, be still, lean on, leap in
Any material will do (- and any space too)
They all have a hidden agenda
They all have a potential to revolt (- and to grow)
With a little tenderness and a spoonful of luck
questions are ready to pop
They all need attention and care
and a washing machine to share
On a rainy day of corny questions
the shimmering sky suddenly reveals
that it's not only my own Dirty Laundry
that tenderly is getting ironed.
