Kristen Gallagher

I am a mixed media artist specializing in printmaking, shadow boxes, painted canvas, and jewelry. I see my art as a reflection of the art of the world: I paint the patina of life; the left over bits of ragged and over-indulged society are fodder for my ideas. Dripping acrylic, ink, wax, and torn paper, books, and fabric are the bases for my collage and painting. I am interested in the human aspect and relationships between the lives of each human being.
